Chocolate Bark

Sunday was a busy day for our event order's, one of our lovely customers wanted something else to go alongside the Fudge & Marshmallows, so I thought I'd try a new recipe Chocolate Bark.. I have never made it before but thought hey it looks easy enough and it honestly was, I loved making it! It's one of those treats where you can get creative, I kind of just made up my own recipe, my first tray of bark was Belgian Milk Chocolate, Honeycomb pieces and drizzled with White Belgian Chocolate, popped back into the fridge to set then just snapped into pieces, we had to have a little taste test of course... honestly so good!!

I decided to make another tray, mainly because it was fun to make! Milk Chocolate again but this time I added a  Salted Caramel Sauce and topped it with Salted Caramel Fudge pieces, this one took a little longer the set due to the Caramel Sauce, once broken into pieces we obliged again by taste testing!!! it didn't disappoint, it reminded me so much of a Diam Bar, I honestly could have eaten more, but as Ant reminded me it was for our customer!!! luckily it was quickly packaged up to be sent out the next day, the feedback I received was that everyone loved it, this always makes me happy!

So I think Bark will be making a come back at Easter for sure, mainly because I love making it! but also due to the positive response, my Malteser Bunnies and Mini Eggs are at the ready! untill next time.... much love Netty xxx
